QATAR: PRO LAB, a leader in professional audio-visual solutions, partnered with Behind the Scenes (BTS) Qatar to create the state-of-the-art Emerson Immersive Room, setting a new benchmark for immersive environments. This project aimed to revolutionize how users engage with presentations and demonstrations, offering a highly impactful and captivating experience. The Emerson Immersive Room features seamless 360° projection mapping, real-time audio-visual synchronization, and intuitive controls, making it a versatile platform, enhancing communication for audiences.
The project integrated advanced technology from Panasonic, Dataton, Martin Audio, Powersoft, Xilica, Audinate, Merging Technologies, and Audix to deliver a transformative experience. Despite the complexity of merging diverse high-performance systems, PRO LAB overcame challenges through innovative design and meticulous calibration, ensuring future-proof flexibility and reliability.

BTS is proud to have collaborated with PRO LAB on the Emerson Immersive Room project, utilizing the extensive experience to deliver a groundbreaking audio-visual solution. Together, they successfully created a space that blends immersive technology with functionality, precisely achieving the client’s vision.
The project integrated advanced technology from a range of manufacturers to deliver a transformative experience. Four Panasonic PT-RZ690LB and ET-DLE020 DLP laser projectors deliver visuals, with content synchronisation across all displays managed by Dataton’s WATCHPAX 62 A featuring a WATCHPAX 62 Air Filter.
For sound, eight CDD5W 2-way passive loudspeakers and four ACS-40TS-W ceiling speakers were integrated, complemented by a SX110-W subwoofer, while three Powersoft Mezzo 604 AD amplifiers ensured efficient audio output. Power and processing were courtesy of a Xilica system comprising a Solaro FR1-D processor and two XC-SML and XC-SLO audio input cards alongside one Solaro XC-SGP general-purpose input/output (GPIO) card, the HearClear AEC software, a Gio Bluetooth network endpoint and a Lucia networked wall controller. An Audinate Dante AVB USB ADP-USBC-AU-2X2 adaptor facilitated low-latency audio networking, while Merging Technologies MOV-PCK-PRE enhanced audio recording and playback. The system was completed with an Audix M3W tri-element hanging ceiling microphone.
